Visual Chart

This picture was taken during the process of building up my visual chart.
(Haven't got final picture as I did not do the chart using a software, but did is manually instead)
I chose 5 designers, from different eras, and made an individual row for each designer.
So in all, I had 5 rows (From top: Alexander Rodchenko, Mies Van Der Rohe, Andy Warhol, Ettore Sottsass, Michele de Lucchi) and around 5/6 pictures for each designer, including, their own designs, architecture, and a news article.

I did it this way, so I would understand what each artists went through while they were living through each of their own era's. After finding all the information, I stuck everything neatly and accordingly to each designer and era. I then took time to study and research different meanings of each picture, and saw which ones joined, compared and contrasted each other.

As for example, the different chairs some of the designers had, or what well known icons had passed in that particular movement. Also how the war effected the situations of certain designers. How things changed from one movement to the other, like 'The Time' magazine (second row) in 1923 to the 'Net' magazine (fifth row) in 1979 in colour. How buildings change, Le Corbusier building in 1929/30  to Michele De Lucchi's in 1951.

A lot can be compared from one time to another, in some way or doing, as everything has been influenced from one another.
